Mr. Adu Gilbert Joseph is a seasoned Nigerian academic professional born on August 18, 1976. He is currently a Chief Lecturer in the School of Foundation Studies, specifically within the General Studies Department, with a specialization in English (Language option). His career in academia began with a pensionable appointment on September 6, 2005.Mr. Adu earned a Master of Arts in English, (Language Option ) from the University of Port Harcourt in 2010 and a Bachelor of Education (Honours) in English with Second Class Upper Division from the University of Ibadan’s Institute of Education, Port Harcourt, in 2001. His early education was completed at Community Secondary School, Akinima, where he obtained his SSCE in 1995.Throughout his academic career, he has held several significant administrative roles, including: Dean of Student Affairs (April 2024 – present; also served from Oct. 2012 – Oct. 2014) Director, School of Foundation Studies (June 2017 – Oct. 2021) |
