MRS. ASEIBAI EBINYO REBECCA

Mrs. Aseibai, Ebinyo Rebecca is a committed senior lecturer in the department of General Studies at the School of Foundation Studies, Bayelsa State College of Health Technology, Otuogidi – Ogbia Town, Bayelsa State. With over 14 years of teaching experience, she has consistently delivered high – quality instruction in Biology and Microbiology to students in health – related disciplines such as Medical Laboratory Technology, Pharmacy Technology, Environmental Health, and Community Health.

Her Academic background includes a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Microbiology from Niger Delta University, Wilberforce Island, Bayelsa State. She is currently pursing a Ph.D. in Public Health Microbiology at the Federal University Otuoke, Bayelsa State, with a focus on contributing impactful research to the field of microbial sciences.

Throughout her academic career, Aseibai, Ebinyo Rebecca has played integral roles in both teaching and institutional development. She designs and facilitate lectures and practical sessions, supervise student projects, and contribute actively to curriculum development and academic quality assurance. Beyond classroom instruction, she has held significant leadership positions including her current positions as  Deputy Dean of Student Affairs, Chairman of the Student Dress Code Committee, and Advisor to student Associations. She serves on several Boards and committees that guide academic and disciplinary standards.

Her dedication extends beyond academia through her involvement in community health awareness and public service. She has organized and supported health sensitization outreach programs across Bayelsa State and serve as a special Marshal with the Federal Road Safety corps (FRSC).

As a professional, she is a member of the Microbiology Society of Nigeria (MSN) and the Science Teachers Association of Nigeria. she also contributes to research and academic discourse, with publications in her area of interest. Her passion lies in fostering academic excellence, mentoring students in both character and knowledge, and using science education to advance community well-being.
