Miss Imeni Awudumaro Abigail was born the 19th day of May, 1981. She hails from Otuabi community in Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, Nigeria and serves as Lecturer III in the department of Medical Laboratory Science, under the School of Allied Medical Sciences. Her Area of Specialty is Chemical Pathology. She was first appointed as a Lecturer on the 1st day of April, 2021. She is currently pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Chemical Pathology at Rivers State University, Nkpolu-Oroworukwo, Port Harcourt, Rivers State. She holds a Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science degree from the same institution formally, Rivers State University of Science and Technology in 2015. She completed her internship at the Federal Medical Centre, Yenagoa in 2018. She also holds a Medical Laboratory Technician Certificate in Medical Laboratory Science in River State College of Health Science and Technology, Port Harcourt, in 2008. Her secondary education was completed at Mater Dei High School Imiringi where she obtained her National Examinations Council (NECO) Senior School Certificate in 2000, and obtained her First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC) from State School one, Ewoama, under Rivers State then but now in Bayelsa State in1992. Miss Imeni Awudumaro Abigail is a member of the following Professional bodies: the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN) as an Associate Member, the Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria (AMLSN), and the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP). In her career in Bayelsa State College of Health Technology (BYCOHTECH) Otuogidi, Ogbia-Town, She currently serves as the treasurer of AMLSN, BYCOHTECH Chapter.
