MRS. OTORO LADEBI OSULUKU

Mrs. Ladebi Osuluku Otoro is a seasoned educator and senior lecturer at the Bayelsa State College of Health Technology, serving in the Department of General Studies under the School of Foundation Studies. Born on June 6, 1977, into the family of Mr. Felix Osuluku from Sabagreia in Bayelsa State, she is married to Mr. Kenisuo Austin Otoro from Ekowe in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State. They are blessed with three children.

Mrs. Otoro began her education at Universal Primary Education (UPE) School in Ovom, Yenagoa. She attended St. Jude’s Girls Secondary School, Amarata, and completed her West African Examination Council (WAEC) certificate at Opokuma Grammar School. She earned her B.A. in English from the University of Uyo. In pursuit of further qualifications, she obtained two Postgraduate Diplomas in Education—one from the National Teachers’ Institute (NTI), Kaduna in 2013, and another from Imo State University in 2019. She also holds a Master’s degree in Language Education (MA.Ed, 2023) from Imo State University and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Language Education (English).

Since joining the college in 2006, Mrs. Otoro has served in numerous leadership roles, including Deputy Dean of Students’ Affairs, Coordinator of Foundation Courses, and in executive capacities within the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP).
