GIDEON MUDIEM TITUS (a.k.a G!Mo Titus) was born in Agudama – Epie in Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State. He attended St. Luke’s Primary School and Community Secondary School all in Agudama Epie, Yenagoa L.G.A. Gimo has been a lecturer in the School of Foundation Studies, Department of General Studies, Bayelsa State College of Health Technology from the inception of the school in 2005. G.M. Titus has his first degree in Microbiology in the University of Port Harcourt in 2005 and was employed as temporary staff in Bayelsa State College of Health Technology, Otuogidi – Ogbia in 2005, with a stint as a Teacher in Bayelsa State Universal Basic Education Board, Okolobiri in 2006 – 2008. G.M. Titus transferred his service to the Bayelsa State College of Health Technology on request by the management of the College in 2008 after his confirmation and was deployed as Microbiology Lecturer in the Department of General Studies. Due to his quest for academic excellence, G.M. Titus proceeded to the prestigious University of Calabar for another first degree in 2011 – 2015, where he obtained his B.SC. Ed (Economics) and further proceeded to Ignatius Ajuru University of Education for his Master Degree (M.Sc in Development Economics with option in Entrepreneurship), he further proceeded for his second Master Degree (M.Ed in Measurement and Evaluation), Gimo has his P.hd in view (Development Economics with specialization in Entrepreneurship). Gimo has a teaching experience of more than nineteen years as a lecturer in the College and has taught courses in all the department of the college some of which are Microbiology, Biology, Epidemiology, Bio-statistics, Demography, and Data Analysis. G.M. Titus was the Coordinator of Microbiology Practical in the College, he has written a book on Microbiology for Colleges and Schools, he has published articles in many peer review journals. G.M. Titus is currently the Director for SIWES Bayelsa State College of Health Technology, Otuogidi, Ogbia Town. |
